The Art of Letting Go
In life's tender embrace, we learn to see,
Not all we cherish is meant to be.
For time, like a river, ceaselessly flows,
And with it, much of our heart's treasures go.
Reality whispers in a solemn tone,
That we can't hold on to all we've known.
Some day will come when we must release,
Or watch as they depart, finding their peace.
Clutching tightly, we fear the fall,
Yet sometimes freedom means losing it all.
So with open hands and a hopeful heart,
We learn that letting go is a sacred art.
In the spaces left by what we've set free,
New joys and loves will come to be.
And though it aches, this truth we know,
In letting go, we too shall grow.
